After being under renovation for a year and a half, Kunsthalle Helsinki (Taidehalli) opened its doors in August of 2009, looking better than ever. At the same time, the renovated Kunsthalle café and restaurant facilities were opened for Farang. The renovated interior of the restaurant follows old traditions, although with a modern approach.

The impressive historical setting is highlighted by new, elegant elements. The simple and modern look supports the restaurant’s Asian identity while respecting the original architecture.

Farang Taidehalli closed 2019 and moved to the new location at Arkadiankatu 6.
