Farang

Farang has established itself in the past 10 years as a solid institution. However, a new location needed to be found and Farang closed its doors in the historical Taidehalli museum building. A new location was found only a few blocks away. The new restaurant is now bigger in size and located in a space that was fully transformed to match the spirit of the restaurant.

The second floor has been opened to create an atrium space for the bar on the first floor and connect it to the second-floor restaurant space. Light floods in from all directions and on the darker winter days the spaces are dimly lit with warm light. Custom wooden furniture and a lattice from floor to ceiling offer nooks of privacy and provide the material entity with a contrast to the wide windows and concrete structures.
