Y-North is a co-working ecosystem and platform for different kinds of entrepreneurs in Rovaniemi, the northern part of Finland. The spatial goal was to create an inspiring, casual and relaxed communal office space upstairs and an industrial and even raw environment downstairs that shifts for different kinds of venues, get-togethers and photoshoots. Spatial style and atmosphere highlight Y-North’s location in the Northern part of Finland and the community’s energetic entrepreneurial spirit. Easily modifiable and flexible space lives together Y-North’s ecosystem and changing needs. Over 1000 m2 consists of an open plan workstation area, meeting room huts, video-editing spaces, wood workshop studio, sauna, open multi-purpose space and various storage spaces.
