Supercell, one of the highest-grossing mobile game developers had its headquarters built in Jätkäsaari Helsinki. The eight-story office building named Woodcity holds the record for being the largest in Finland when measured in the quantity of wood used. Building and its interiors were designed to create the “best working conditions in the world” for Supercell employees.

Futudesign was invited to join the design efforts envisioning the kitchen layout and functionality of the staff restaurant. Our task evolved into designing the whole restaurant area on the 8th floor.
The second assignment was to design custom screen stands for the numerous meeting rooms of the building. This task evolved into being a product development project for a full family of meeting room tables and screen stands for different sized meeting rooms. Among many smaller details, we also designed custom room control panels, floor plan info screens and a presenter podium for the auditorium.
